De menigte die zich gisteren op de Groenplaats in Antwerpen verzameld had voor de startdag van Music For Life werd verrast met een optreden van Editors. De jaarlijkse benefietactie van Studio Brussel werd zo meteen met een knaller in gang geschoten. De groep speelde een akoestische set met ‘Papillon’, ’No Sound But The Wind’, ‘Someone says’ en een enthousiast onthaalde cover van ‘Let it Snow’.

In het Glazen Huis overhandigden Editors nog een platinum plaat aan de drie presentatoren. Deze plaat wordt geveild op Ebay, wij hopen dat die héél veel geld opbrengt voor aidswezen: klik HIER om te bieden. De veiling loopt af op donderdagavond. The Australian brother and sister singer/songwriter duo Angus & Julia Stone is causing excitement worldwide. After the 2007 debut entitled ‘A Book Like This’ (platinum in their homeland), they released a follow-up, ‘Down The Way’ in March (with single “Big Jet Plane“). Since travel is in their blood, this album was recorded at a range of locations in Australia, the United States and Europe. The Guardian said: ‘sounds like it was made by Americans with a yen for Fleetwood Mac and Joanna Newsom’.
