this original blend has already resulted in platinum status.

Every year during Midem The European Community (EU) gives the EBBA award
to artists who are on the edge of breaking through in Europe.
With his new album ‘Angelhead’ in the pipeline
Gabriel Rios received the award at this years event.

Whist retaining some of the funk and soul of their 2005 debut We Are Little Barrie, here the beats are yet more devilishly direct, the riffs cut and break, and the songs come with a knowing look and a biting wit.  The whole mood is, if not lighter, then more exhilarating.

Radio Soulwax is the meeting of minds, music and madness that Belgian brothers David and Stephen Dewaele (aka Soulwax aka 2ManyDJs) first road-tested in September 2005 and have more recently spliced into a six hour takeover of the Reading and Leeds festivals’ dance tents with the likes of Vitalic, Headman and Erol Alkan joining their DJ incarnation 2ManyDJs and the club-friendly Nite Versions (the live, discofied take on Soulwax’s Any Minute Now LP) at the controls.
