Just back from a 2 month tour in the US supporting legendary JANE’S ADDICTION, BLACK BOX REVELATION start their European tour with 2 sold out shows at the AB in Brussels (that’s 4 sold out AB’s since the release of ‘My Perception’ in October last year).
After these European shows Jan en Dries will return to the States to promote the US release of MY PERCEPTION with more gigs and a live performance on The Late Show with DAVID LETTERMAN !

‘The Temper Trap’ is the follow up to 2009’s debut long-player ‘Conditions’. Featuring the singles Science of Fear, Fader, Love Lost and Sweet Disposition – the latter of which spent more than six months in the UK singles chart – the album was one of the breakthrough successes of the year and has now been certified Gold two-times over in the UK, selling over 800,000 copies worldwide.
The band debuted tracks from the new record at two capacity shows at SXSW in Austin, Texas last week, and are currently on a sold out tour of the US in March. They return to their adopted home in UK for a tour in May to coincide with the album release, before heading to Australia and Europe; a run of summer festivals is currently being lined up, including appearances at T in the Park and Truck Festival.
‘The Temper Trap’ is the band’s first album as a newly-expanded five-piece outfit following the permanent addition of Joseph Greer on keyboard and guitar. The self-titled album will feature 12 new songs recorded in Los Angeles with producer Tony Hoffer (Beck, M83, Phoenix).

The Temper Trap – NEW ALBUM
The Temper Trap is super excited to announce the details of our second album, “The Temper Trap”.
The new album was recorded at the famed Sound Factory in Los Angeles, with producer Tony Hoffer, who’s worked with the likes of Beck, M83 & Phoenix. It’s their first album as a five-piece, after they recently welcomed Joseph Greer (keyboard/guitar) to the fold as a permanent member.
“The Temper Trap” features 12 new songs, and will be out on May 21 on Infectious/PIAS
